October 28 - November 1, 2024

Accelerated Math:

This week we worked with algebraic expressions. We evaluated expressions with substitution, wrote equivalent expressions and simplified expressions with variables. 

  6 Math:

This week we worked with GCF and LCM, evaluating exponents, and simplifying numeric expressions following order of operations. We will have a quiz on Friday 11/8 over 3.1 -3.3. 

Reading

In Reading, students are continuing work in Amplify by analyzing the importance of dialogue in a text and with character development.

Writing

In Writing, students are wrapping up their Multimedia Projects this week. All items are due by Friday (fictional short story and their two projects.)

This week we conducted nervous system experiments. Next week we will learn how to graph our data.
