BREAKING RECORDS AND MAKING HISTORY!
Kaplan High Junior Kevin Smalls just shattered the school record in discus with an unbelievable throw of 166 feet today! That’s right...this guy didn’t just show up, he showed out!
Kevin was made to be a champion; he brings the fire, the focus, and the fierce drive to rise above the rest. Whether it’s the weight room, the practice field, or meet day, Kevin knows how to get his Game On!
HISTORY MADE…AGAIN!
Our Kaplan High School Girls' Track Team is on another level this year! Not only did they bring home the prestigious title of RUNNER-UPS at Friday's meet, but they SHATTERED a school record in the process!
The 4x4 relay team clocked in at a jaw-dropping 4:11, rewriting the record books and leaving a legacy of speed, heart, and hustle. Huge congratulations to the unstoppable crew of Lexi Greene, Emily Roy, Liberty Greene, and Isabella Hargrave. You are officially part of Pirate history!
Coach Codey Mire summed it up perfectly:
"These kids didn’t just chase history, they ran right through it! Their dedication, discipline, and heart set a new standard for this program. I couldn’t be prouder."
There’s no denying it, something’s in the water at Kaplan High this year. Our students continue to rise, break records, and show the world that when it comes to determination and drive…
#GAMEON is more than a motto. It’s a mindset.
Dear Pirate Family,
As we prepare to step into Spring Break and celebrate the spirit of Easter, we want to take a moment to send our warmest wishes your way. May this season bring peace, love, and joy into your homes and hearts.
At Kaplan High School, we feel incredibly grateful to be part of such a strong and supportive community. The care you show for our students, faculty, and one another is more than just appreciated—it’s palpable. Whether you're a parent cheering from the sidelines, a community member showing up when it matters most, or a student giving your all each day, your presence makes a difference.
As the school year begins to wind down, we want to say thank you. Your support fuels the spirit of our Pirate family and reminds us that we are never in this work alone. It truly takes a village, and we are proud to serve public education alongside all of you.
From all of us at Kaplan High, have a safe, restful, and joy-filled Easter break.
With gratitude,
Administration
