Joshua is a junior in the Haslam College of Business, originally from Bartlett, Tennessee. He is majoring in Finance, with a concentration in Business Analytics and a minor in Economics.
On campus, Joshua is a member of the Haslam Business Fellows Program and serves on the Business Honors Council as part of the Advisory Committee. He also holds positions on the Haslam Student Advisory Council and the President’s Council, and represents the college as a Haslam Ambassador. He is a two-year member of the Haslam Peer Mentor Program and was one of two students selected to attend the Undergraduate Business Leadership Conference at Emory University.
Within the college, Joshua is a member, contributing writer, and Director of Communications for the Tennessee Capital Markets Society. He is also involved in the UT Investment Group, Financial Management Association, Project Inspire, and the Economics Club.
Outside of academics, Joshua serves on the Volunteer Team and in Youth Ministry at Sevier Heights Baptist Church.
His professional experience includes roles with the U.S. House of Representatives, HP, SurgePays (FinTech), and Deep Knowledge Investing.

Connor is a junior in the Haslam College of Business, originally from Worcester, Massachusetts. He is majoring in Finance and is on track to pursue a career in law. “My ambition is to attend law school after graduation and leverage my financial expertise within the legal field to become a successful attorney.”
On campus, Connor is a member of the Haslam Business Fellows Program and Kappa Alpha Psi Professional Business Fraternity. He also serves on the executive board of Kappa Alpha Pi Pre-Law Fraternity and is the Captain of the Tennessee Club Hockey Team.

Liam is a junior in the Haslam College of Business, originally from Franklin, Tennessee. He is pursuing a double major in Finance, Management, and Entrepreneurship. “I am driven by a strong curiosity about the intersection of business strategy, financial insight, and entrepreneurial innovation.”
On campus, Liam is a member of Delta Sigma Pi Professional Business Fraternity and the Tennessee Capital Markets Society. He also serves on the Haslam Student Advisory Council, contributing to the development of student programming and academic initiatives.

Faculty Advisor
Somer Chyz joined the Department of Accounting and Information Management in 2013, following a career as an attorney. She received her BA (1999) from Yale University and her JD (2003) from the University of Richmond. Ms. Chyz practiced law in New Mexico and Arizona, as well as Tennessee. Her legal career touched upon a variety of disciplines, including commercial litigation, white-collar prosecution and criminal defense. She also spent 3 years as a Staff Attorney for the University of Tennessee College of Law’s Legal Clinic, defending criminally accused indigent and juvenile clients. Ms. Chyz currently teaches Business Law to MBA and Undergraduate students.
