The Haslam Business Law Society exists to bridge the gap between the fields of business and law by providing career exploration, hands-on learning opportunities, and law school preparation to students interested in this intersection. Our mission is to empower Haslam College of Business students, and others across campus, with meaningful exposure to legal concepts, alumni connections, and career pathways that involve legal and regulatory frameworks, both within and outside of law school.
The HBLS will serve as a resource hub and professional development community for students interested in business-adjacent legal fields, including but not limited to:
Contract Law
Corporate Law
Securities Law
Antitrust Law
Labor Law
Tax Law
Real Estate Law
Compliance & Risk
Government & Regulatory Agencies
