I strive to give back to my community, both in my physical local community and in the philosophical community.
At the University of Tennessee, I have worked as an academic mentor for first semester student athletes. At the University of West Georgia, I worked as both a peer tutor and as a supplemental instruction leader for elementary statistics.
I have served as a high school ethics bowl judge, moderator, and coach in both East Tennessee and West Georgia. I competed in ethics bowl at both the high school and collegiate levels.
I am currently an international director for Minorities and Philosophy (MAP).
I have been a reviewer for Medusa: An Undergraduate Journal of Feminist Philosophy.
For the UTK philosophy department, I have served as a representative to the Graduate School Senate and as president of the Philosophy Graduate Student Association. As part of my duties as president, I helped organize our annual philosophy conference in Spring 2025.
