CODE OF CONDUCT

All BGBP Officers

1. In all you do put the vision and mission of the Boys and Girls Brigade Philippines first.

2. Remember that your company is a unit of great organization whose good name is in your keeping. The Brigade is a family entitled to your loyalty. Treat other Officers and Companies honourably. Let rivalry be the health emulation of the true sportsmanship.

3. Be punctual and dependable. Put company meeting before social pleasures.Be faithful in small things.

4. If you are a Captain, train your Lieutenants to take your place. Give them definite duties and responsibilities, and support their authority. If you are Lieutenant, be loyal to your captain, and earn his/her confidence. Do not leave all the thinking to him/her. Initiate and suggest.

5. Your members need your friendship. seek means of serving them. Be firm and impartial. Keep faith in your members.

6. Never be tempted to think that you know your job as a BGBP Officer. You will always have more to learn. Study the manual and stick to it. Take full advantage of progressive Officers' Training Courses.

7. You owe it to the member to see that he/she gets the best you can provide or call to your aid. Christ's Kingdom must be built with the best material and workmanship. The finest methods will fall short unless with them you give yourself in unselfish friendship and Christian example.
