The International Travel Program at Valley Lutheran High School aims to carry out the school's mission of preparing students for life with Christ as our foundation by providing students with a variety of opportunities to explore, engage with, learn from, minister to, and serve the world around them.  It is our hope that these opportunities equip students with:

• Increased cultural competence that allows students to appreciate diversity, challenge stereotypes, and develop empathy for all God's people.

• Personal growth through increased independence, adaptability, and confidence.

• Academic enrichment and real-life experience with classroom lessons from a variety of subject matters.

• Piqued curiosity about the world around them--from other cultures, foods, and languages to the majesty of God's creation.

• a desire to be a lifelong learner and explorer.

• an understanding of and appreciation for their role in the universal Body of Christ.
