Preliminary Rounds instructions (Autonomous Challenge):
Teams will be allocated rest and preparation areas.
Each team will play three (3) games lasting a maximum of 3 minutes each. The best score and timing from the three games will be used to qualify teams for the finals.
Each team will be given a 20 minutes time slot to play their three games. Teams may use the time to calibrate their robots before attempting any of their 3 games, but they must complete their 3 games within the 20 minutes time slot. The 20 minute timing will be started from the moment they receive their random card set for the first game.
The top 3 teams from the Primary School category will be chosen to enter the Finals, based on the score and the timings taken.
The top 3 teams from the Secondary School category will be chosen to enter the Finals, based on the score and the timings taken.
Preliminary Rounds instructions (Exploration Challenge):
Teams will be allocated rest and preparation areas.
Within each of the four competition categories (Pri.-Light, Pri.-Heavy, Sec.-Light, Sec.-Heavy), teams will play 3 games during the preliminary rounds.
Each game has a duration of 3 minutes.
The best score out of the 3 games for each team, as well as the best timing for the game with the best score, will be used to decide on whether a team qualifies to enter the Finals.
The top 3 winning teams in each of the four categories for the preliminary rounds will qualify for the Finals.
