Introduction: 

     Hello!  My name is Mrs. Arvidson, and I will be your new teacher.  I am pleased you will be in my 3rd-grade class for the 2024-2025 school year.  This will be my 35th year teaching elementary school. I have the best job in the world, and I am happy to share the excitement of 3rd grade with you.

    In 1990, I graduated from BIOLA University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies. I received a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Azusa Pacific University. 

    I am married and have two children.  My daughter Brooke graduated from BIOLA University and now teaches at Coastal Academy.  She had our first grandchild, Sage.   My son Luke graduated in 2020 from Azusa Pacific University with a Bachelor's Degree in History. My husband, Phil, is a PE teacher for the Oceanside Unified School District. My family loves to play basketball, ski, wakeboard, and spend time together.

  I am also Empresa's Head Scrabble Coach.  I have a love for words that I enjoy sharing with our 3rd, 4th & 5th-grade students!
