Teacher Tech Tools was created in conjunction with my time at California State University San Marcos, School of Education as a graduate student. Teacher Tech Tools is an online resource for teachers to help implement meaningful technology practices in their classrooms.

I personally wanted to create Teacher Tech Tools because I wanted teachers to have a space where they felt both comfortable and inspired to bring technology into their classrooms in a meaningful way!

David R. Krathwohl explains that Bloom's Taxonomy has been used by educators as a representation of a culminating hierarchy. This meant that once you mastered one hierarchy, you were able to move to the next (Krathwohl, 2002).

With a revision to the 1956 version of Bloom's Taxonomy, the highest level switched from evaluating to creating (see left). This switch meant that instead of students just recalling or evaluating information, they were now being asked to take the information they learned and create a product with it.
