Hi!
My name is Mrs. Gentile and I am absolutely thrilled to be your third grade teacher this year! I am originally from Riverside, which is about an hour and a half east of North County. How did I end up in North County, you ask? I was accepted into Cal State San Marcos where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree, Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, and most recently, I earned my Master's in Education with a focus on technology in the classroom! I’m proud to be a CSUSM Cougar!

This will be my eighth year in Vista Unified School District and fifth year at Lake Elementary. Before teaching at Lake, I taught at Maryland Elementary in both kindergarten and first grade. I previously taught three years of fifth grade at Lake Elementary before making the move to third grade!

When I’m not at school, I love to run, go to sporting events, try new recipes, play with our dog Willow, travel, and spend time with my family and friends. Some of my favorites include In-N-Out, the Dodgers, the Broncos, a nice long Target trip, and anything NEON!

This summer I got married to Mr. G! He's a 5th grade teacher at Midland Elementary in Poway! During the pandemic we adopted our first puppy, her name is Willow and we love her so much! I can’t wait to meet you and I am looking forward to a fun-filled year in third grade!
