SDGs

The SDGs(Sustainable Development Goals) are 17 goals created by the United Nations to help make the world a better place. Our project is connected to SDGs 6 and 13. SDG 6 is about clean water. The goal is for everyone to have access to clean drinking water. Our project contributes to this goal because we clean dirty water. SDG 13 is about climate action. Our project is canect to SDG 13 because our project can make people get access to clean water.

In this project we are figering what are we going to do for our project and we decide to make a water fillter to help cleaning the water so people can drink water that is clean and people will not get sick anymore.

Product Build

This is our group project(water filter). The metirials we use is the small stones, Activated charcoal, Fine sand, and cotton. This metirials can block the dirty particle in the watter. It can make the watter a lot cleaner but still not drinkable. It's becasuse it can not clean 100% of all the bacteria.

What do I think about PBL

I like PBL because it makes learning fun. In normal class, we just listen to the teacher and read books. But in PBL, we can do projects. This makes me more happy and more interested in learning.

In PBL, I can work with my classmates. We talk, share ideas, and help each other. Sometimes we make a poster. I learn many new things, and I also learn how to work with friends.

Mock Exhibition Reflection

I think i do a good job or the mock exhibition. But we got no enough space. But we still do a pretty good presentation, we answer the question they ask and it very smoothly.

Environmental Science Reflection

In PBL class, I learned about many different types of environmental science. Like I learn that a lot of natural resources can also block a lot of impurities after we use gravity to pull the water down and pass through all the layar inside our project.

SEL Reflection

In PBL we also learn about SEL witch stand for social, emotional and learning. SEL is very importent in life, everyone is using this skill everyday, SEL can make me learn how to control my emotion, make good friend and studing for anythings. For example: I learn about how to control my emotional by giving myself some free time . It sound simple but a lot of people is having bad emotion everyday. Exhibition

I learn that i shouldn't be nervest during the exhibition. Because druing the exhibition, people will ask me a lot of question. Sometime it acuialy very hard to answer thier question and to explan how our project work. Sexpecialy when someone who know a lot about water. They will ask me a lot of question and sometime i don't know how to respon their question. So next time i will try to do more reserch about our project and I will try to do more presentation to make sure i will not be nervous.
