El Deafo is the book we are reading in class this semester. It is about a girl named Cece. She loses her hearing, but she imagines she has superpowers. I think this book is very fun and interesting. Even though Cece cannot hear, she is still happy and brave. She learns how to use a hearing aid to help her listen. She also finds new ways to talk with her friends. Sometimes she feels shy or different, but she never gives up. I like Cece because she is strong and kind. This book teaches me to be brave and to love myself, even when things are hard.oo
