UNIT 1: Poetry Slam
This picture is in my notebook, what I wrote when I was brainstorming, and the poem only had a title and the purpose then.
This is what it looked like before I made the poster and there is still some grammer mistakes and incorrect words.
When I was practicing for my presentation, I struggled a lot with remembering my poem. But, my teammate told me some tips about how to remember the poem ;for example find the beat, and find the words that rhyme to go along with it. She also told me I had to have some emotions while I was presenting, so the audience would feel the mood of the poem. To make make sure that I presented emotions during my presentation, I looked in the mirror when I was practicing at home. The practice did make my presentation more interesting and not sound like a robot, but it wasn't perfect. So, next time, I will practice even more.
Here is the time line of my story
The start of the brain storming
The middle of the brain storming
The end of the brain storming
This is the writing I do after the brain storming, there is still a lot of grammar mistake, and a lot of things I can fix.
UNIT 3: Elevator Pitch
Before I write my final draft, I will have to change the grammar mistake and delete the part that are not important and sould be deleted.
This is my video that I am going to use for my job.
After finishing this project, I really understand how important it is to focus. I should spend my time doing work and not playing video games, so I have the ability to get everything done on time. I usually rush to finish my work the morning before the due date, so instead I should set up a clock to remind myself to do work on time! And I can write it on my calender so it will pop out the day before the due date. So I can finish my work on time, and not get zero on my score box. This will work because I can see the reminder and remember that I still have works that are not done. Also when I am writing I learned a lot of new skills like how to talk about all the details and not rush and finish what i am supose to say.
