Critical Thinking
I can make many adjustments and improvements to this comprehensive writing assignment starting from thinking more outside of the box when it comes to asking AI to revise my essay I have written because the processing range of the AI is within the prompt that I give him anything else such as wether I answered the question or not, the AI doesn't process that. That leads to me needing to think more widely to improve my essay. I also think that I can improve on thinking faster when brain storming what to write so I won't have situations where I don't have enough time. I think another improvement I can make is checking over my work more carefully before turning it in because there were probably some parts where I could have explained my ideas more clearly or added stronger details to support my points. I also feel like I can do better at organizing my thoughts before I start writing so that my essay can have a smoother flow from one idea to the next.
Critical Thinking
What are some improvements you could make on this assignment?
As the illustrator of this project, I can definitely improve the drawings and make them look more complete than they are right now. Since the story is about a lost juice box in a convenience store, I could add more background details to make each scene feel clearer and more alive, such as brighter shelves, more products, signs, lights, and customers. Some pages already show the store, shelves, workers, and animal characters, but adding more unique colors would help the mood change throughout the story. These improvements would make the picture book look more polished and help the audience understand the juice box’s feelings better.
Growth
How did feedback from your peers help you grow during the completion of this assignment?
Feedback from my peers and teacher helped me to develop a wider range of thinking and creativity when it comes to doing something similar to this project. It also helped me realize that drawing may not be as easy I thought it was. Their feedback helped me notice parts of my drawings that could be improved, such as adding more background details, using better colors, and making the characters’ emotions clearer. It also helped me understand that drawing is not as easy as I first thought, because small choice can affect how the audience understands the story.
