Regents Prep

The Common Core English Regents Exam is the only state exam taken during the course of high school English. It is taken at the end of students' junior year in June.

There are three sections to the three-hour exam:

Part 1: Reading Comprehension

Part 2: Source-Based Argumentative Essay

Part 3: Text Analysis Response Essay
