I have been teaching in the Lakeland Central School District since 2008, working as both a substitute teacher and leave-replacement teacher prior to being hired as a full-time teacher. I also worked in the ASPIRE program at Van Cortlandtville for one year. To date, I have taught I-CORE grades 6-8, English 7, self-contained English 8, English 9R-12R, English 9H, and Learning Center. I am currently teaching English 10R, English 12R, and English 12R: Mystery, Horror, Suspense.
I am duel-certified in English 5-12 and Students with Disabilities 5-12.
I am also the club advisor for two after school clubs: Pawsitively Pawsome Club, and, Gaming Club.
I am also the advisor for The Hive's Mind Literary Magazine.
Throughout my years at Lakeland, I have had the opportunity to work with an amazing student body. The creativity, passion, and genuine exuberance for learning, has always impressed me, and I am truly honored, and humbled, to work with such an amazing group of young adults.
