WELNET is a comprehensive fitness database that has been adopted by the Lakeland Central School District in order to provide students and parents with a snap shot of their physical fitness improvement and progress. Starting in their 1st grade year, data is collected in what we feel are the five most important areas of a child's fitness: Cardiovascular (distance run), muscular endurance (curlups), muscular strength (pushups), speed and agility (shuttle run), and flexibility ( sit and reach). They will be assessed in these areas twice a year, so that they can set mid year goals and strive for improvement. Students and parents can access their accounts at any point to check their scores, set goals, and compare past performance.
At the conclusion of the 1st and 3rd trimester, students and parents will get a comprehensive assessment of that marking period's results. In order to access student accounts at any time, please use the criteria below:
