The Intramural Program at George Washington is an elective program for 5th grade students on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:35-8:20 AM. Parents of 5th graders must send in the permission form before their child attends the program. There is no cost for participating and students are welcome to attend whenever their schedule permits. Students are not required to attend each and every session, but attending as much as possible is strongly encouraged. We offer a wide range of activities that correspond with what we are learning in physical education at the time. Please note that in the event of a delayed opening, there will be no intramurals on that day. Parents/guardians are responsible for dropping off their children in a timely manner, at the crosswalk, and making certain that they enter the building safely before departing. Permission forms are available from Mr. Macchi.
