Lessons

Lessons are an important part of the orchestra program. Your child will participate in weekly small group lessons.

Students will be pulled from class for a group lesson once per week.

The lesson time will rotate with week so that students do not miss the same class each time. It is made very clear to students in the instrumental program that it is their responsibility to make up any class work missed due to lessons.

Students are expected to come to each lesson prepared. With, their instrument in working condition, a pencil, shoulder rest (optional, but reccomended for violins/violas) and a lesson book that will be provided for them.

Specific instruments are allowed on the bus. Please look at the district's transportation policy at which instruments are and are not allowed on buses.
