Rental Information
Orchestra students have a couple of choices when choosing where to rent their instruments:
The first option to rent is through Lakeland Central School District. Families can rent string instruments for a 10 month period. (September - June)
Students will be given a rental contract to be filled out and returned with a $60.00 check made out to Lakeland Central School District to be returned to their orchestra teacher.
Once the form and payment is received students will be allowed to bring their instruments home.
*If you choose to rent through the school district, there is no need to place an instrument on hold, or obtain an instrument before the school year begins. This rental process begins with the start of lessons, typically the first full week of school in September.
Families can also choose to rent through a local music store in a nearby town. Below are some links to music shops that offer rentals.
Wherever you choose to rent an instrument from, it is very important that all instrument cases are labeled with the students first and last name.
