Empower every student to discover their possibilities and thrive.
Compassion - Innovation - Integrity - Perseverance
Hello! I am Alycia Larson, the High School Counselor. I grew up in Viroqua, attended K-12 school here, and now live just outside of town with my partner, Andy, and three amazing boys (Aiden, Amery, and Atley). After high school, I attended Viterbo University where I graduated with both my bachelors and masters degree. I have professional experience working in healthcare, not-for-profit & for-profit businesses, training & development, and higher education. I enjoy spending quality time with my family. We love spending time outdoors, whether it’s UTV rides, camping, or exploring new places together. When time allows, I find true joy in DIY home projects & crafting.
I am looking forward to building strong connections with students, staff, and families. It's exciting to be part of all the amazing things happening in our school community.
My mission is to guide students in discovering their strengths, exploring career and college paths, and building a future they’re excited about. With compassion and integrity, I support each student in unlocking their potential and making confident, informed decisions.
My purpose is to inspire and empower every student to confidently pursue their future—equipped with purpose, passion, and a clear path toward college, career, and lifelong success.
