I am currently a Ph.D candidate in economics at University of Virginia, concentrating in macroeconomics and public finance. My research focuses on how demographics shapes the intergenerational fiscal policy in a political economy, particularly taxation policy and the allocation of budget between education spending and old-age benefits. Before coming to Virginia, I worked at the Bank of Korea as a junior economist for 6.5 years.
I am on the job market this year (2024-2025). You can read my job market paper here.
