We want to integrate the topic of “Festivals” in our school curriculum into real life and enable learning by doing and experiencing. Between October 2025 and May 2026, a festival celebrated that month will be determined by voting as the theme for each month. Under the guidance of one teacher, mixed groups will be formed from our students, and these groups will write their own original stories related to the designated festivals by the end of each month (using Story Bird, Story Jumper). Posters and flyers will be created (using Canva). Presentations and bulletin board projects will be conducted at school. Films with appropriate content related to the festivals will be screened. The stories will be presented to other groups online (Zoom, Twinspace). After the presentations, mini quizzes and competitions will be organized to increase excitement and interest in their own stories (Kahoot, Quizizz). The original story of the month will be selected through online voting (Google Forms, Survey Monkey) and certificates will be awarded (Canva, Certificate Magic).
After the presentations, the festival for the following month will be determined (Google Forms, Survey Monkey).
At the end of the project process, the story of the year will be selected from among the original stories of each month (Google Forms) and certificates will be awarded.
Our joint product will be an e-magazine featuring these stories.
Through this project, students will have the opportunity to interact and collaborate with peers from different cultures. Their learning, research, and creative thinking skills, awareness of cultural diversity, sense of responsibility, and ability to utilize technology will develop.

Expected Results:
Each month, a unique story related to the festival will emerge from each of the mixed student groups. Interaction, communication, and collaboration among students will continue throughout the project. Web 2.0 tools and Twinspace will be actively used. Creative thinking will increase historical, geographical, cultural, and technological knowledge. Competitions will generate high levels of interest and enthusiasm. Students will learn about social values, cultural differences, and the richness of the world's geography. The stories written will be published monthly on the school bulletin board, project blog, and school website, and will receive feedback and evaluations. At the end of the project in May 2026, all original stories will be compiled in an e-journal. They will be disseminated both within and outside the school, on social media accounts, bulletin board displays, and in local media.
The dissemination activities will encourage other students to participate in projects, interact with different cultures, use digital tools, engage in teamwork, actively use the English language, and discover themselves.
