Meet the baker

It was 2017 and I was aimlessly scrolling the internet, as one does, I came across a buzzfeed type video of the cutest little macaron shop in California. That place was Honey and Butter. Their character macarons left me enchanted.

I'd always loved baking and I said, "How hard could it be?" The universe was listening and oh boy, the universe had the last laugh. I spent the better part of the next two years crying in my kitchen over these fickle cookies.

They still make me cry occasionally, because at this point I swer like I have made a million macarons and I still have pans of them that decide to explode in the oven and I'll just never understand why.
