Village Mentors is a student-run division of Village Libraries 501(c)(3) NGO. We are connected to serve as a mentors to the village children we work with all over the globe (32+ countries in 5 continents).
Some of the specific countries are: India, Zambia, Ghana, Malawi, Kenya, Uganda, Peru, and Mexico.
Mentors help encourage and coach paired students to explore basic levels of English, Literacy, STEM, Health, and more. It is personalized to each mentor’s expertise via flexibly scheduled weekly ~1 hour virtual sessions.
We also serve extensively in our own communities in addition to globally impacting the education of children in other underprivileged communities. Stay on the lookout for local & international outreach opportunities!
