Expectations

Students will be expected to meet the following expectations on a daily basis. 

• Listen attentively when others a speaking. 

• Follow directions quickly and stay on task.

• Be respectful by keeping hands, feet, objects, and unkind words to themselves.  

• Be honest and cooperative.

• Be responsible. 

• Work hard and be safe! 

Students will be made aware of these expectations and will be held accountable using ClassEquity.

Behavior Policies

We will use the Class Equity app to keep track of our class economy.  Students will log in any money earned by following classroom procedures.  They may also receive fines  for not following classroom procedures and have to use their balance to pay them off.  Each week students can also earn a "paycheck" by helping around the classroom. Each week they will need to pay a weekly rent and utilities bill.  I love this app because it also relates to real life expectations.  

Students who have been fined several times each week will not be able to participate in Fun Friday or may possibly serve recess detention during second recess. 

Our dean will step in and assist with some behavior issues if needed. The dean may contact you, especially if the issues are happening outside of the classroom (recess/lunch) or if it's a continuing issue.
