Dagmara Żyła

I am a rove beetle systematist currently working as an Assistant Professor and PI at the Museum and Institute of Zoology, Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw, Poland. I am a trained entomologist with scientific interests in insect diversity and evolution. My research focuses on systematics, natural history and taxonomy of the largest family of animals, rove beetles (Staphylinidae). My long-term research interest is to combine traditional taxonomy and systematics with modern analytical approaches to tackle the evolutionary drivers of mega-diversity.
