Dagmara Żyła

I am a rove beetle systematist working as a Coleoptera Curator in the Leibniz Institute of the Analysis of Biodiversity Change, Zoological Museum Hamburg, Germany. I am a trained entomologist with scientific interests in insect diversity and evolution. My research focuses on systematics, natural history and taxonomy of the largest family of animals, rove beetles (Staphylinidae). My long-term research interest is to combine traditional taxonomy and systematics with modern analytical approaches to tackle the evolutionary drivers of mega-diversity.
