My overarching research line -how to enhance more healthy,welcoming, and inclusive culture in physics teaching and research- is informed by my experiences from working in multiple physics departments, both as a researcher and as a woman and first generation college student. Through my research, mentoring, and teaching, I intend to be a voice for those who have not been traditionally welcomed in academia, particularly in STEM fields.
