1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
Chat Screenshots & Images: Images you upload to the Snap & Rizz and Chat Analyzer features for AI processing.
Text Input: Any text you enter or paste into the app for generating replies via the Keyboard Rizz feature.
User Preferences: Vibe settings and customization choices you make within the app.

Device Information: Device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers.
Usage Data: Features used, frequency of use, and interaction patterns within the app.
Log Data: App crashes, performance data, and diagnostic information.

2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
Provide, operate, and improve the ZRIZZ app and its features.
Process your uploaded screenshots and text to generate AI-powered reply suggestions via the OpenAI API.
Analyze chat conversations to provide vibe checks, ghosting risk assessments, and relationship insights.
Personalize your experience based on your preferred reply vibes and settings.
Send you important updates, notifications, and customer support responses.
Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats.
Comply with legal obligations.
3. How We Process Your Chat Data — Including Third-Party AI
ZRIZZ processes chat screenshots and text inputs using the OpenAI API to generate AI-powered suggestions.
Third-Party AI Provider:
ZRIZZ uses the OpenAI API (provided by OpenAI, L.L.C.) to power all AI features including Snap & Rizz, Keyboard Rizz, and Chat Analyzer.
When you use these features, your chat screenshots and/or text inputs are transmitted to OpenAI's servers for processing.
OpenAI acts as a data processor on our behalf and is contractually bound by OpenAI's API usage policies, which prohibit OpenAI from using API-submitted data to train its models.

Data Handling:
Images and text you upload are processed in real-time to generate reply suggestions.
We do NOT permanently store your chat screenshots or conversation content after processing.
We do NOT use your personal conversations to train any AI models without your explicit consent.
Your chat content is never shared with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
All data transmissions are encrypted using industry-standard SSL/TLS encryption.
Important: Before any data is sent to OpenAI, you will be asked to provide your explicit consent via an in-app prompt. You may decline, but doing so will disable AI-powered features.
4. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do NOT sell your personal data. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:
4.1 Third-Party AI Service Provider — OpenAI
To provide AI-powered features, we share your text inputs and chat screenshots with the OpenAI API. OpenAI is contractually prohibited from using this data for any purpose other than providing the API response. This sharing occurs only with your prior in-app consent.
4.2 Other Service Providers
We work with other trusted third-party service providers (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics) who assist us in operating our app. These providers are contractually bound to protect your data and may only use it to perform services on our behalf.
4.3 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of ZRIZZ, our users, or the public.
4.4 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
5. Your Consent & Control Over AI Data Sharing
Before transmitting any data to the OpenAI API, ZRIZZ will:
Display a clear consent prompt explaining what data will be sent (text inputs and/or screenshots).
Identify OpenAI as the recipient of that data.
Give you the option to accept or decline before any data leaves your device.
You may withdraw your consent at any time in Settings > Privacy. Withdrawing consent will disable AI-powered features but will not affect your account or other app functionality.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Uploaded images and chat content used for AI processing are deleted from our servers within 24 hours of processing. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
7. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
Portability: Request a copy of your data in a portable format.
Opt-Out: Opt out of non-essential communications or certain data uses.

8. Children's Privacy
ZRIZZ is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are between 13 and 18, you must have parental consent to use ZRIZZ. If we discover that we have collected personal data from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete it immediately. Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided us with personal data should contact us at privacy@zrizz.app.
9. Security
We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect your information, including SSL/TLS encryption, secure data storage, access controls, and regular security assessments. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.
10. Third-Party Links & Services
ZRIZZ may contain links to third-party websites or services (e.g., Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those platforms. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before using them.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or via email. Your continued use of ZRIZZ after the effective date of the updated policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
