The ZClub is a true community club that engages with high school students from local school districts. This student club is designed to provide opportunities for young adults to develop communication and leadership skills, explore career alternatives, and increase their international awareness and understanding through service. 

In the 2022-23 school year, we met twice a month at Homer High School on Fridays at 2:30pm.  Fall 2023 information TBD.

YWCA GEMS Club Activity Nights

ZClub partners with the Cortland YWCA to help develop fun activity nights for the GEMS (Girls: Empowered, Motivated, Successful)program. GEMS is a YWCA Cortland support group that provides a safe place for teen girls, ages 12-18, to build a community made just for them. For December, we did a holiday movie and pizza night. In February, we are helping with a Pinterest Self-Care night for the young girls, where we will do crafts and dinner. These activity nights create a safe and interactive environment for local girls and ZClub members offer positive mentoring. 

Loaves & Fishes 

Zclub also regularly volunteers at Cortland's Loaves and Fishes. Homer high school Zclub members often go on Fridays to help out in the kitchen, serving food to local community members.
