The Zonta Club of Cortland has selected local artist, musician, and educator Molly Reagan to receive its 2026 Woman of Achievement Award. This award, created in 1979, recognizes a local woman who has improved the lives and status of women, girls, and/or children in the Cortland community through her paid and volunteer work.
Reagan is an Art Teacher at St. Mary’s School in Cortland, Crown City Little League baseball coach, WSI Swim Instructor, creator of PorchFest Cortland, singer in “Molly & the Ringwalds,” a freelance artist who owns her own studio, “Good Neighbor Art,” and a mother to two sons. She also serves on the Boards of Directors for Catholic Charities of Cortland and the Cortland County Convention & Visitors Bureau.
She runs an art camp for two weeks every summer and frequently leads teen mural programs. She also works with libraries on literacy and art programming in the summertime. Her colorful murals and works of art can be seen across New York State including at the Kenmore Public Library in Tonawanda, Hertel Alley in Buffalo, the Guthrie Hospital Courtyard, St. Mary’s School, Cortland Youth Center, the Suggett Park basketball courts, the Ithaca Science Center, 50 Main Street, Experience Cortland Visitors Center, Frosted Bakery, Janke Chiropractic, and Crossfit Cortland.

Providing Financial Awards: The Zonta Club of Cortland provides 2 types of financial awards to support our community:
Education Awards - available to individuals to support educational pursuits
Service Awards - available to local organizations who provide services to support women and girls in our community
The Woman of Achievement Luncheon: An annual spring luncheon honoring a local woman who embodies the mission of Zonta, this event also serves as a fundraiser to support local organizations serving the women and children of the greater Cortland area
Rose Day: Presenting yellow roses for acts of kindness that have improved the status and/or wellbeing of women and children in our community
ZClub: The ZClub is a true community club that engages with high school students from local school districts. This student club is designed to provide opportunities for young adults to develop communication and leadership skills, explore career alternatives, and increase their international awareness and understanding through service.
Zonta Garden: Maintaining a beautification project at the intersection of Clinton and Church Street in Cortland.

The annual Woman of Achievement Luncheon will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2026.
Monthly dinner meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:00 pm. Most are in-person meetings, with our January-March meetings held via Zoom.
We welcome applications from interested women who live in the greater Cortland County area.
