Zombie Assault is a zombie wave-defense game for iPhone and Android phones. Zombies attack your base in endless waves that get harder every time. Build walls, traps and turrets on a grid to hold them off, and see how many waves you can survive. There are no ads, no in-app purchases and no account, and it plays fully offline.
Drag a defense from the build bar at the bottom onto the grid.
Tap START to send the next wave. Zombies head for your base at the bottom of the screen.
Every kill earns money. Build more, or tap something you built to upgrade, repair or sell it.
Use walls to steer the horde: zombies walk around short walls but smash through long ones. Drag a turret to move it.
Every wave earns XP and Scrap, even if you lose. Spend Scrap in the Armory on permanent upgrades, then try again.
An iPhone with iOS 17 or later, or an Android phone with Android 7.0 or later. No internet connection or account is needed.
Yes, automatically, on your phone. Your run is saved between waves and while you build, so you can close the app and tap CONTINUE on the title screen later. If you close the app in the middle of a wave, you'll pick up just before that wave started.
Your Commander rank, Scrap and Armory upgrades are saved too. Progress stays on this phone: it doesn't sync to other devices, and it can't move between iPhone and Android.
NEW GAME starts a fresh run but keeps your rank and Armory upgrades.
To erase everything (rank, XP, Scrap, Armory upgrades and best wave):
iPhone: delete the app. Touch and hold its icon, tap Remove App, then Delete App. Then download it again from the App Store.
Android: touch and hold the game's icon, tap App info, then Uninstall, and download it again from Google Play. Or keep the game installed and, on the same App info screen, tap Storage & cache, then Clear storage (on some phones: Storage, then Clear data).
This can't be undone.
It's a one-time purchase: $0.99 on the App Store and $1.99 on Google Play in the US (each store sets the price in other countries). After that the whole game is yours: no ads, no in-app purchases and no subscriptions. The iPhone and Android versions are sold separately by Apple and Google, so buying one doesn't unlock the other.
During a game, tap the pause button at the top left: the pause menu has SOUND and VIBRATION switches. On the title screen, the speaker button at the bottom right turns sound on or off.
Back (the button, or the swipe in from the edge of the screen) closes whatever is open, one step at a time, such as the pause menu or the panel of something you tapped. With nothing open during a game, it pauses the game. It never ends your run. On the title screen, it closes an open box, or with nothing open it leaves the game, and your progress stays saved.
The game also pauses by itself if you switch to another app during a wave.
Apple and Google handle all purchases, so refunds go through them: for the App Store, go to reportaproblem.apple.com; for Google Play, open your order history in the Play Store (play.google.com/store/account/orderhistory). If you have trouble, email us.

If it's a bug, it helps to include your phone model, its iOS or Android version, and the wave you were on.
