Traditional Thai massage or Thai yoga massage is a traditional therapy with over 2500 years of history (starting with the records of Jīvaka Komarabhācca). Thai massage can help people relax, relieve muscle and/or joint pain, improve posture and flexibility, and boost a person's mood.
Traditional Thai massage (or Thai yoga massage) is a traditional therapy combining acupressure, Indian Ayurvedic principles, and assisted yoga postures that utilizes the specialist’s fingers, thumbs, elbows, arms and feet on the body’s muscles, pressure points and vitality lines to clear vitality blockages and equalize the body’s vitality. Generally no oil is used in this treatment.
The full traditional Thai Massage as it is taught in The Wat Po School of Chian Mai consist of 108 movements to stretch and relax your entire body, and takes about 2hrs to perform in its entirety. Our therapists use a blend of techniques from Wat Po and other schools according to your physicology and your needs.
This particular massage is perfect for athletes, desk-bound workers, and individuals who could benefit from stretching and movement.
Thai deep tissue massage targets deeper layers of muscle tissue and so can be beneficial in releasing chronic tension in the muscles. There is more focus on acupressure points than stretches; deep tissue massage is therapeutic in nature, rather than relaxing - this means that the relaxations effects will be most obvious after the treatment.
Softer pressure can be applied if you would like a more relaxing experience – just ask your therapist to apply an enjoyable pressure.
A popular choice, this massage combines techniques of Thai, deep tissue and Swedish massage. It is performed on a massage table and features some basic stretches, as well as more deep tissue focus on problem areas, or areas where you feel you need it. This customised massage may include massage balm and/or tok-sen therapy, this will always be discussed and agreed with you as the treatment progress.

Ultra-focused on the upper back, shoulders, neck and head, this massage is designed to concentrate on source of the pain felt in the shoulders and the neck, using firm pressure, soothing strokes and stretches. You will notice the difference from the first treatment!
We carry this treatment out on a massage couch as usual.

This is a blissful full-body oil massage, blending Swedish and Thai techniques, focused on pure relaxation. We use a combination of aromatic oils to relax or stimulate the senses, but pure grapeseed oil is available if you prefer an experience free of scent.
This treatment is particularly recommended for people under a heavy mental load who need a gentle way to relax and reconnect with their senses.
