Grapeseed oil (comedogenic score 1) is used for massage, with supplements of pure essential oils added for fragrance, in the order of a few drops per 100mL (0.2% dilution).

Various balms are sometimes used on some areas (especially neck and shoulders), of which the most common is Tiger Balm and based on camphor, cajuput, menthol and clove.

Two very shy and polite cats lives in the premises, and althought the massage studio is thoroughly cleaned, cat allergy proof conditions cannot be guaranteed. Benadryl Allergy Relief - 15min is available on demand.

It is expected that you maintain your personal hygiene; additionally please cover any open cuts or warts with bandage, and let your massage therapist know where they are so they avoid touching those areas. 

Appart from the obvious, try to avoid alcohol for 24 hours before, and avoid eating a big meal within 2 hours of your massage.

'60min' treatment means 60 minutes hands-on treatment, and being late to your appointment will cut into your massage time.
Arriving a few minutes early to your appointement allows you to settle in without rushing and enjoy the full extent of your massage.

Maintenance level treatments to keep your body performing as it should, is once a month for a 90 to 120minutes massage.

If you are an actively training athlete / experiencing a high level of stress / in recovery from a traumatic event / other particular circumstances, you might need treatment up to once a week. 

It is important that you are patient to let your body respond to the therapy; some effects takes a few days to settle in.

If you are coming in for a treatment and you want  a full body massage along with specific detailed work to aid in rehabilitation or pain we highly recommend booking a minimum of 90 to 120 minutes with your therapist for best results.

• A full body Thai Combination / Deep Tissues massage with 1 or 2 area worked in detail

What a 120 minute massage is good for:

• A full body Thai Traditionnal Massage with 1 or 2 area worked in detail

• A full body Thai Combination / Deep Tissues massage with 2 or 3 area worked in detail

There are 26 steps leading to the studio and no accomodation for people with limited mobility.

If you are a first-time visitor to Zoé Soleil, you will be asked to complete a short questionnaire covering medical history. This is for your safety, and to allow us to best tailor your treatment to your needs

We are sorry to say we cannot provide pregnancy massage (our insurance has particular requirements). If you are in your first trimester it is NOT recommended to have a body massage at all. If you would like to look for a massage elsewhere (in your 2nd or 3rd timesters) then we recommend you consult your GP first, and then find specialists in pregnancy massage.

Your therapist will remove remaining oil with towels at the end of your treatment; showering at the premises is not offered. 

Most of the treatments we provide require application of oil. This can be aromatic or odour-less (your choice). You should remove clothing to a level with which you are comfortable, but always keep your underwear on, and in any case, you’ll be covered at all times with a towel from upper thigh to waist.

Your therapist will show you to your treatment room and then leave you in private to undress.
They will knock before re-entering.

When you make a reservation, we make sure that a room is prepared and a therapist is available. If you do need to cancel your appointment, please please let us know as soon as you can. Deposits are fully refunded if:
a) You cancel 3hr before your appointment
or
b) If cancelling within 3hr of your appointment, your slot is rebooked by another client.
