I had the opportunity to cover the Iowa Girls State Volleyball Championship games for Iowa PBS at the Xtream Arena in Coralville, Iowa. I spent the 13-hour day capturing live content throughout the arena — posting updates on social media and creating highlight reels as the action unfolded. It was such an amazing experience to cover my first major event, especially one that celebrates girls in sports.
