I am a Senior at the University of Iowa, pursuing a double major in Journalism and Mass Communication and Sport Media & Culture, along with a minor in Dance.  

I am a Talk Show Production Intern at Iowa Public Radio. In this position, I produce shows before airtime, run the board during the show, mix promotional billboards for air, and create promotional web posts after each show.  

I also work for Iowa PBS as a Social Media Intern. In this role, I create graphics for their website and social media, create promotional text to accompany stories on the website, and work with the sports team to cover high school sports behind the scenes and championship games. I run Instagram, Facebook, and X accounts to provide live updates during high school sporting events.  

I also serve as a Sport Media Student Ambassador for the University of Iowa, where I help with networking events, student panels, and outreach efforts to prospective students. Additionally, I am the Social Media Director for the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) and President of the Association for Women in Sport Media. Through these leadership roles, I engage in campus networking, manage social media accounts, and provide insights to other students through presentations.
