Hillary is the senior pastor of the Bethany/Zoar United Methodist Charge. You may have seen her in the news talking about a fresh expression of ministry we are doing with neighboring churches in the area! Originally from Columbia, SC, she graduated from Furman University in 2012 with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Poverty Studies. Between 2012-2015, she served as a young adult missionary with Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church. As a missionary, she worked in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa with a Methodist seminary and in Miami, Florida with a financial coaching clinic. She then received her Masters of Divinity from Candler School of Theology at Emory University, focusing on religious education and conflict transformation. When she is not doing church work, she loves hunting, hiking, kayaking, and running with her dog (Lola) down long country roads.
