An outreach program is a planned activity or set of activities designed to extend services, support, or assistance to individuals or communities outside an organization’s usual reach—especially those who are underprivileged, underserved, or in need of help.

It is commonly organized by schools, universities, NGOs, government agencies, or church groups as part of their social responsibility and community engagement.

The Zamora Memorial College Library was designated as a Board Games Activity Area during the 2025 Intramurals.

We were pleased to host various board game events that promoted strategic thinking, sportsmanship, and camaraderie among students. 

Book Week should be celebrated because it inspires a love of reading, sparks imagination, and brings communities together through storytelling. It encourages children and adults alike to explore new ideas, celebrate diverse voices, and appreciate the power of books to educate, entertain, and connect us. By highlighting the joy of reading, Book Week helps build lifelong literacy skills and fosters a culture that values creativity and learning.
