The Department of Science and Technology–Science and Technology Information Institute (DOST–STII) is the Philippines’ lead agency for disseminating science and technology information. Its core functions include building and maintaining a science and technology databank and library, providing widespread information services, conducting training programs on S&T information management, and promoting a culture of science, technology, and innovation to support socio-economic development.
