I enjoy writing fresh, modern-sounding wind ensemble arrangements and believe in composing music that blends inspiration from today’s artists with the sounds and traditions of the greatest wind ensemble composers. My work has been strongly influenced by composers such as Khataj Copley, John Mackey, Alex Shapiro, Frank Ticheli, David Maslanka, Ivan Trevino, Andy Akiho, and many other outstanding voices within the medium.
