TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ZIPSTER

These terms govern your use of the Zipster mobile application ("Zipster", "the app"), published by MD Developer Studio ("we", "us").

By installing or using Zipster you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. YOUR LICENCE TO USE ZIPSTER

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Zipster on devices you own or control, for your own use.

You may not:

• Sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the app

• Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it, except where that right cannot lawfully be excluded

• Remove or obscure any notice of ownership or licensing

• Use the app to infringe anyone's rights, or to handle content you do not have the right to possess

This licence covers the app itself. Your files remain entirely yours; we claim no rights over anything you open, create or extract with Zipster.

2. YOUR FILES ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

This is the most important clause here, so it is not buried.

Zipster creates, extracts, moves, renames, overwrites and deletes files. Used normally it does what you ask. But file operations carry inherent risk: a device can lose power mid-write, storage can fail, an archive can be corrupt, and a tap can be a mistake.

Keep backups of anything you cannot afford to lose. Zipster's recycle bin exists to make ordinary deletions reversible, and it is genuinely useful, but it is not a backup system. It holds files for the period you set, on the same device, and a failed or lost phone takes it with everything else.

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining your own backups

• Checking that an extraction produced what you expected before deleting the original

• Remembering passwords you set on archives you create — we cannot recover a lost archive password. There is no master key and no reset. Modern archive encryption is designed so that nobody, including us, can open the file without the password. If you lose it, the contents are gone.

3. THIRD-PARTY ARCHIVES AND CONTENT

Zipster opens files produced by other software. We cannot guarantee that every archive will open, that a damaged archive can be recovered, or that a file inside an archive is safe.

Files extracted from an archive are not scanned. An archive can contain malware exactly as an email attachment can. Treat anything from a source you do not trust with the same care you would apply anywhere else. Zipster's "install from archive" feature hands the file to Android's own installer, which will show you what it is before anything happens — read that screen.

4. ADVERTISING

Zipster is free and is supported by advertising, served by Google AdMob.

Ads are provided by third parties. We do not control, endorse, or take responsibility for the content of an ad or for anything on a page it links to. Any dealing you have with an advertiser is between you and them.

How advertising data is handled is set out in our Privacy Policy.

5. PREMIUM

Zipster offers a paid upgrade ("Premium") that removes advertising and unlocks additional tools.

• Premium is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. There is no recurring charge and no trial that converts into one.

• Purchases are processed by Google Play, not by us. We never see or handle your payment details.

• Premium is tied to the Google account that bought it and can be restored on your other devices through Play.

• Refunds are governed by Google Play's refund policy. Requests go through Google in the first instance; contact us as well and we will help where we can.

• The tools included in Premium are those listed on the purchase screen at the time you buy. We may add to them. If we ever need to remove one, buyers who already paid keep what they were sold or receive an equivalent.

6. AVAILABILITY AND CHANGES

We may update Zipster, change how features work, or discontinue the app. We will not deliberately break a paid feature for people who bought it.

Zipster runs entirely on your device, so an update failure or our discontinuation does not stop the copy you already have from working.

7. NO WARRANTY

Zipster is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every archive format will behave identically to every other tool.

Nothing here excludes any warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded. In some countries you have statutory consumer rights that apply regardless of this clause, and this agreement does not affect them.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of data, files, profit or business, arising from your use of or inability to use Zipster.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim — which for free users is zero.

Again: this does not affect statutory consumer rights that cannot be waived where you live.

9. SUSPENSION

We may withdraw your licence if you use Zipster in breach of these terms, in particular to distribute the app unlawfully or to handle content you have no right to.

10. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top will change, and significant changes will be noted in the app's release notes. Continuing to use Zipster after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Surat, Gujarat have jurisdiction, without affecting any right you have to bring a claim in your own country of residence where the law gives you that right.

Encrypted vault

Zipster Premium includes an encrypted vault. Files you move into it are

re-encrypted with AES-256 and stored in the app's private internal storage,

where no other app on the device can read them and where Android's media

scanner never looks.

The vault passphrase is chosen by you and is never stored, transmitted or

recoverable. We cannot open your vault, and neither can anyone else without

the passphrase. If you forget it, the contents cannot be recovered by any

means.

File contents are encrypted. File names are not, because a ZIP archive keeps

its index unencrypted. Reading those names would require root access to your

phone; the contents remain encrypted regardless.

Nothing in the vault is uploaded, synced or shared. Android backup and

device-to-device transfer are both disabled for this app, so the vault never

leaves your phone by any route you did not choose.
