The Columbia Art League offers art classes for kids, teens and adults!
Classes include everything from bookbinding, pastels, basket weaving, embroidery, painting and more.
Students can also sign up for summer art camps.
The following gallery features photos from the Homeschool Art Club. This class is 15 weeks long and it is designed to give homeschooled children a place to create art. Grades K-5 are welcome, and they meet every Thursday from 3-4:30 p.m.

How do I enroll in a CAL art class?
How do I enroll in a CAL art class?
You may enroll via CAL's online enrollment system that uses Stripe for online payment, or you may enroll using CAL's paper form and paying by check.
Registration by mail will not be confirmed. Unless contacted, plan to attend the first class as described. You are enrolled as soon as CAL receives the form and payment.
If I decide to cancel my enrollment in a CAL art class, will I get my money back?
Enrollment for each class closes one week before each class's start date. If you cancel your enrollment with 14 days notice, you will be
refunded minus a $25 processing fee.
Cancellations with less than two weeks notice will not be refunded. Enrollment is confirmed upon receipt of payment and is on a first-come, first-served basis.

CAL's Adult classes are available to students aged 18 and over.

Will class ever be cancelled due to inclement weather?
When Columbia Public Schools are closed for winter weather cancellations, Columbia Art League will cancel classes. CAL also may cancel classes even if CPS has not closed, due to concerns for winter weather and road conditions that may affect the safety of our students and teachers traveling throughout mid-Missouri. Please check the web site and local news sources for possible weather-related cancellations during snow accumulations and icy conditions.

Sunday Sessions are available to students aged 18 and over. Sessions take place every other Sunday from 2-4 PM.

What are CAL Summer Art Camps?
CAL Camps provide quality art instruction that mixes technique and skill-building with opportunities for creative freedom and self-expression.
For decades, CAL camps have been at the center of creative summer fun in our community. This year our camps will provide the same high-quality instructional value, creative engagement, and fun you’ve come to expect from our programs, and we are pleased to announce, we will be back in person again!
Camps will take place in the Friendship Hall at Unity Center, located at 1600 W Broadway. This large space allows plenty of room for social distancing indoors, as well as lots of engaging outdoor space.
This year, we are offering 11 different themed camp classes for children ages 6-16. There are three age groups to choose from when enrolling and prices range from $180-$200.
