Computational Genomics and Bioinformatics

Lingling Zheng received a Ph.D. in Biomedical and Molecular Biology from Sun Yat-sen University in 2012. She is an Associate Professor with the Department of School of Life Science at MOE Key Laboratory of Gene Function and Regulation, State Key Laboratory for Biocontrol, Sun Yat-sen University.

This lab focuses on mining the "hidden world" of the genome, we use high-throughput sequencing techniques combined with computational methods to identify non-coding RNAs in the geonme, and investigate their functions in biological process and diseases.
