The Zheng Group at UIUC develops next-generation bioanalytical technologies that use sequencing-based strategies to enable single-molecule protein sequencing, high-throughput aptamer structure profiling, and single-cell and spatial metabolomics. Our overarching goal is to advance our understanding of biological systems at a scale and resolution beyond what current methods can achieve.
