Visual effects and photosensitivity

Ruleocard contains changes in brightness, high-contrast patterns, rotations and image distortions. Some effects may cause discomfort or dizziness, or trigger seizures in photosensitive individuals, even without a known history of seizures.

If you or a family member have experienced a seizure or loss of consciousness associated with visual stimulation, consult a doctor before playing.

If you experience dizziness, visual disturbances, involuntary movements, disorientation, convulsions or loss of consciousness, stop playing immediately and seek medical advice.

Precautions

Play in a well-lit room, at a comfortable distance from the screen and with moderate screen brightness. Avoid playing when tired or sleep-deprived. Take a 10–15 minute break every hour. Parents should watch for symptoms in children.

Game options

Accessibility settings provide options to reduce motion and flashes. These may lessen some effects but do not guarantee that playing is safe for everyone. Stop playing if the effects remain uncomfortable.
