I am a fourth-year PhD candidate in Operations at the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, jointly advised by Profs. Brad Staats and Yuqian Xu.

Research Interests: Empirical Operations Management | People-Centric Operations | Human-Centered AI | AI-Driven Video Analytics

My research lies at the intersection of AI and people-centric operations. In my work, I combine advanced AI methods, such as computer vision, with causal inference to study how emerging technologies, such as video-based monitoring and real-time streaming, shape employee productivity and organizational performance. By analyzing visual data and fine-grained behavioral information, my work uncovers the mechanisms through which these technologies drive employee responses and provides actionable insights for improving their deployment to enhance both operational efficiency and quality.
