Companion Animal Exotics Physical Exam and Ultrasound Lab - WAITLIST ONLY

Small Animal Prep Rooms (McCoy) - 4:00-6:00pm

Hone your physical exam skills for exotics species with this lab, run by Dr. Paul Gibbons. Students will have the opportunity to consider approaches to PEs with a variety of species, including reptiles, small mammals, and birds.

Aquatics Comparative Anatomy/Necropsy Lab - WAITLIST ONLY

WADDL Necropsy Floor - 2:00-4:00pm

Take a deep dive into fish diagnostics with this comparative lab, led by Dr. Tom Waltzek! We anticipate having salmonids, sturgeon, and a limited number of elasmobranchs to help participants gain a deeper understanding of the diversity of fish species while also practicing basic diagnostics and necropsy skills. ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST COMPLETE NECROPSY FLOOR SAFETY TRAINING PRIOR TO THE LAB.

Wildlife Necropsy Lab - WAITLIST ONLY

WADDL Necropsy Floor - 4:00-6:00pm

Develop your postmortem diagnostic approach to wildlife species during this necropsy lab, led by Dr. Kyle Taylor. While the location of this lab is subject to change, ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST COMPLETE NECROPSY FLOOR SAFETY TRAINING PRIOR TO THE LAB. Trainings will be made available for lab participants. If this lab is moved to the Anatomy Lab, no prior trainings will be required (participants will be kept in the loop as the location is finalized).
