About Zecan

This is a digital learning Virtual platform for Zambian learners from grade 5 to 12. We share a common goal with parents and that is to ensure that learners become productive, successful, and confident adults. We help learners develop their careers by building on their individual strengths and interests in a home study network powered by the digital revolution.

Mission

To build a model for the integration of Digital Learning platforms in Zambia's elementary and Secondary Education System. The initiative is designed around exerting the highest Impact of learning and teaching in Zambia by taking the leverage that comes with multimedia and internet technologies.

Vision

To be the number one community powered educational network in Zambia with presence in all the 10 provinces in Zambia providing extra educational support to learners from upper primary to senior secondary level.

Moto

ZECAN, Re-branding Zambia's Classroom environment; Inculcating the Zambian masses in the Digital Style.

We strongly believe that:

1. Learning is not supposed to be always a stressful venture.
2. Learning occurs well when the learner is motivated enough to learn and this does not include being confined.
3. Learning must be flexible, adaptable and not complicated.
4. Learning is just one amongst several basic human needs including shelter, security, food and water and therefore must not be excessively expensive.
